Structural Engineer 3 will provide structural analysis and design, including the sizing of structural members, foundation design, lateral bracing design and structural design using commercial software. Provide field observations, checking of shop drawings, and as-builts.

HSMM is searching for a Structural Engineer 3 to:

• Provide structural analysis and design, including the sizing of structural members, foundation design, lateral bracing design and structural design using commercial software. 
• Provide field observations, checking of shop drawings, and as-builts.
• Perform specific building project design and development tasks, including reports, drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, and quality control review. 
• Respond to client questions and comments.
• Review contractor submittals.
• Provide clarifications during construction.
• Adhere to accepted industry and company standards.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, coordinate and direct the development of project requirements.
• Review and understand drawings prepared by other disciplines, and communicate with those disciplines to ensure project documents are completely coordinated.
• Coordinate/review the work of other engineers, designers, and CADD technicians.
